No, Wet & Forget is fine if left in the spray container as it does not deteriorate or go off when it has been diluted. Plus it will not damage your garden sprayer as the product is not corrosive. 

We only recommend this product for outdoor use.

Wet & Forget is concentrated and must be diluted before use. Therefore, dilute Wet & Forget 1 part to 5 parts water. If you’re looking for a ready to use product, look at our Rapid Application.

No. The pink Rapid Application product is specifically formulated to dilute the perfect ratio of product to water given any water pressure so that the 2L concentrate will cover the same large area rapidly. It is a completely different formulation. 

The traditional blue Wet & Forget is concentrated and requires dilution before use, it is applied through a garden sprayer. The pink Rapid Application is Ready to Use with a smart nozzle to do the dilution for
you, simply connect to your garden hose.

Rapid Application is great for larger surface areas as it can cover 100m2 in just five minutes. It also reaches up to 8m high!

Wet & Forget Mould, Lichen and Algae remover is great for more precise application and smaller surface areas.

Depending on how porous the surface is, you may need to apply Wet and Forget more often. It’s worth checking the surface for any signs of regrowth regularly, especially during the wetter, colder months. For most applications, using Wet and Forget once per year should suffice. 

How long Wet & Forget takes to work is totally dependent on the intensity of the contamination of mould, algae or lichen. For mild contaminations, results can be seen in days. For more stubborn infestations Wet & Forget can take approximately 2-3 months to see improvements. In very severe cases of contamination it may take 6-12 months to work. The good news is that when Wet & Forget is used again the following season, the clean-up results will occur within weeks! 

You can spray on cold days, provided the temp is above 0 so that the product can dry in the surface. Please also ensure the surface is dry before application.

On a cool dry windless day, when no rain is expected for 4-5 hours. Often the evening is best when evaporation of the product is minimal.  If it rains 4-5 hours after you apply the Wet and Forget, you will need to reapply once it is dry again.

The reaction you are seeing is a good one. It means the algae spores and contamination have been treated correctly. Wet & Forget works by killing the contamination immediately as you are spraying it. Then using the power of the weather and rain it gently cleans the area back to looking like new without the use of harsh chemicals or power washing.

Yes. For instance if the contamination is extreme, increase the strength for a quicker reaction. However, if you have cleaned the surface previously with Wet & Forget and you want to give it just a maintenance spray, you can decrease the strength if the contamination is light. The cleaning process will still be as effective

You have to be very careful when spraying near fish ponds or any pond with aquatic life! Wet & Forget is very toxic to aquatic organisms. We recommend taking the necessary precautions to ensure Wet & Forget does not come into contact with your pond and fish.

Please follow all on pack advice for pet safety. Although Wet & Forget doesn’t contain bleach or ammonia we recommend keeping your animals off the treated surface until it is dry, to ensure they don't ingest any of the product. If they accidentally walk or sit in the product wash their feet and bottoms with fresh water as a precaution. If ingestion has occurred, seek medical advice.

Not unless you are directly spraying it onto the plants. If you accidentally do this, then rinse the plants down with water from the hose, or better still, cover them with paper or plastic to avoid over-spray. 

We recommend disconnecting your roof from your water collection tanks.  You will then need 2-3 good downpours, or 6mm of rain, before reconnecting your water supply.
